About Joy Care Solutions

Caring with Dignity, Respect and Compassion

Our Registered Manager

At Joy Care, our Registered Manager has over 17 years' experience as a registered mental health nurse supporting people living with mental health difficulties and dementia in older adult and working-age adult services.

Throughout her experience she has supported service users and their families to understand and choose care packages that meet their individual needs. She has seen first hand situations where care packages have not worked effectively because there was a lack of understanding of the person's needs, preferences, mental health, communication style and circumstances. She understands the impact this can have on people's wellbeing, independence, dignity and quality of life.

Genuinely Person-Centred Care

At Joy Care we want to provide care that is genuinely person-centred, where we understand the individual rather than simply providing a set number of tasks or visits. We are a team of well-trained, compassionate staff who understand the needs of people living with mental health conditions, dementia and other complex needs, and who can support them to live as independently and safely as possible.

Why Home Matters

We believe that, wherever it is safe and appropriate, people should have the opportunity to remain in their own homes. Home can provide familiarity, stability, dignity and a sense of independence, which can be particularly important for people living with dementia, mental health needs or other complex conditions.
